SCHOOL MANGEMENT & CAREERS AT LIORA SCHOOL
Liora School is managed by a board, headed by the Director of Studies and Projects. The board is made up of seasoned educationists and entrepreneurs who are charged with the responsibility of making major and long-term decisions affecting the school.
The day-to-day functioning of the 3 sections of Liora school is the responsibility of the Director of Studies, Heads of the respective departments and School Supervisors; working hand – in glove with our staff of unquestionable competence.
In employment of Liora school staff, the following factors were taken into account:
- Good mental and physical health;
- Experience and enjoyment of child care- (ability to teach young children with required patience);
- Educational qualification and related work experience in child development per job group-
- College/ Basic school teacher: Minimum of bachelor’s degree or its equivalent;
- Assistant teachers: Minimum of bachelor’s degree or its equivalent;
- Pre- school teacher: Minimum of National Certificate in Education (NCE) or its equivalent.
- Care-givers: Minimum of 5 credits (Mathematics and English inclusive) in senior secondary school certificate
