Liora School operates three academic terms per session:
First term: September – December
Second term: January – April
Third term: April – July
This pattern is followed consecutively, except where altered by pronouncements of the Rivers State or Federal Government Authorities.

Parents’ participation: Within each term, Liora hosts certain activities that would necessitate our Parents’ participation. These activities include, but are not limited to:

• Liora Facility day (at the beginning of every school calendar year)
• Termly class oratory and project presentations;
• Parent-Teacher conference (open day)
• Career week (Parents come and talk to children about a career);
• Spelling bee day;
• Chess tournament;
• Vocation-Art-Science-and-Craft exhibition day;
• Club day;
• LITFEST Competitions – Speed Mathematics, Debates, English Appreciation, and Science
• Liora Forum (P. T. A.);
• End of term activities:
  • Family Fun Day
  • International Cultural day
  • Graduation Ceremony

Liora school is open daily, Monday through Friday 7.00 am to 4.00 pm, excluding holidays announced by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
For an additional fee, we also offer extended hours of service for parents who for some reason want their children to stay till 6.00 pm.
Academic class hours:
Pre-School – 7.30 am – 1.30 pm
Lower Basic School – 7.30 am – 2.30 pm
Upper Basic School – 7.30 am – 3.00 pm
College – 7.30 am – 3.00 pm

**** On Friday all classes end at 1pm

Booster classes hold daily Monday through Thursday for 40 minutes in the early hours of the day.
Pre-School – 7.10 am – 7.50 am
Basic School – 7.10 am – 7.50 am
College – 7.10 am – 7.50 am
External Examination (Basic 5 & 6/ JSS 2 & 3/ SS 2 & 3) and Competition preparatory classes hold at the close of school hours for 1 hour daily – 2.00pm – 3.00 pm in the Basic School and College
